iQOO Z5 Pro smartphone has arrived on Geekbench with key specifications, suggesting that it could launch soon. The Chinese smartphone brand is gearing up to introduce a new phone in its well-received Z-series. The aforesaid device has been floating around the rumor mill for quite some time now. Moreover, it has been in the news for several days in the form of leaks. The Z5 Pro has already passed through the TENAA certification website in China.
Earlier this week, it was spotted on the 3C certification website. The phone’s TENAA and 3C listings have shed light on the phone’s specifications. The iQOO 8 and 8 Pro smartphone’s original launch date in India has been postponed. However, iQOO Z5 India launch date was tipped earlier this month by leaker Debayan Roy (@GadgetsData). According to the tipster, the iQOO Z5 could launch in the country later this month.

Now, two new Vivo phones carrying model numbers V2148A and V2129A have visited Geekbench. The Vivo V2148A phone recently appeared on the IMEI database. The phone was speculated to be the iQOO Z5 Pro. The Vivo V2129A, on the other hand, is an unknown device that has made its first-ever appearance online. According to its Geekbench listing, the aforesaid device is an upcoming mid-range smartphone from Vivo.
The listing of the Vivo iQOO Z5 Pro shows that the phone packs a Qualcomm chip, which is codenamed “lahaina” Furthermore, the source code of the Z5 Pro shows that the high-performance CPU is clocked at 2.40Ghz. Aside from that, it suggests that the device will have an Adreno 642L GPU. The details suggest that the phone will feature a Snapdragon 778G SoC under the hood, according to a report from NashvilleChatter.
Vivo V2148A Specifications
The V2148A, which is tipped to carry the iQOO Z5 Pro moniker, will ship with 8GB of RAM. Moreover, it is likely to run on the Android 11 OS out of the box. The device scored 3642 in the single-core and 11532 points in the multi-core test at Geekbench. The phone’s TENAA listing hints at support for 5G connectivity. Likewise, its 3C listing suggests that the device will come with support for 44W fast charging. Aside from that, some Weibo leaks claim that the phone will sport a 120Hz LCD display.
On the photography front, the phone could house a 64MP main camera. The fingerprint sensor will be available on the side. On top of that, a 5000mAh battery will power up the entire system. Last month, the iQOO Z5 surfaced on the IMEI website. Details about the vanilla iQOO Z5 model specifications are still scarce. Moreover, Vivo has remained mum on the exact launch dates of the iQOO Z5 and the Z5 Pro smartphones.
