Google unveiled the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro in part last month. The company should announce more information about the new products in October, but from what is known, a good impression is formed about the new products. And so that you can know more about one of the new products before its presentation, the editor-in-chief of XDA Developers shared what he learned.
Some insiders who are well acquainted with new products and, naturally, wanted to remain anonymous, shared valuable information with him. The focus is on the Pixel 6 Pro. The smartphone will be based on the proprietary Tensor chip. But at the same time, he said that the chip will receive a “2 + 2 + 4” core scheme. One cluster is reserved for a couple of cores with a peak frequency of 2.8 GHz, the second block is a duo of cores with a clock frequency of 2.25 GHz, and the third is an energy-efficient 4 cores with a frequency of 1.8 GHz.
Google is expected to use a 5G modem from Samsung in the Pixel 6 series, and firmware analysis suggests the modem is related to Samsung’s Exynos 5123. We can now independently corroborate this finding, as we have found another reference to “g5123b” in the phone’s radio firmware. We can’t confirm the supported bands; but the Pixel 6 series is expected to support mmWave 5G, at least in the U.S.
Google Pixel 6 Pro specs is significantly better than its predecessors
The graphics subsystem will be represented by the Mali-G78 with a frequency of 848 MHz and the promise of a 5G ‑ modem Samsung Exynos 5123 5G. The Google Pixel 6 Pro smartphone is credited with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a variant with 128 GB of permanent memory and a display with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels. It is noteworthy that the refresh rate will be 120 Hz, and it will keep its screen at 2K resolution.
The Pixel 6 Pro should have a 5,000mAh battery and run Android 12. Google will follow in Apple’s footsteps and offer 5 years of software support; making it an automatic phenomenon in the Android world.
Also, the resolution of the front camera should be 12 megapixels and is based on the Sony IMX363 sensor. Pixel smartphones are camera smartphones. The Pixel 6 Pro will pick up the baton and offer a triple rear camera; with a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor as the main one. In collaboration with it, the ultra-wide Sony IMX363 12 megapixel will work; and there will also be a 48 megapixel telephoto lens Sony IMX586.
Other highlights of the Pixel 6 Pro include an optical display fingerprint reader; Wi-Fi 6E support and a Cirrus Logic CS35L41 amplifier.
