Nowadays, there are not that many people that want to buy small screen smartphones. But there is still a concrete number of customers who are willing to spend a certain amount of money on such models. That’s why some manufacturers are still thinking of making handsets for this group. Apple is among them. The iPhone 12 mini is not as popular as its other models. But the Cupertino company has not completely given up on small screen phones. There is a high probability that Apple will officially launch the iPhone SE3 in 2022. The phone will adopt a small-size design. But the appearance will get a huge change compared to the previous generation.

Recently, some fans drew the concept rendering of the iPhone SE3. According to the latter, the phone will use the notch design for the first time to achieve a full-screen effect. Through the increase of the screen-to-body ratio, it will be able to display more content on a small-size body. As the market positioning of the camera is different, it will not sport a top-notch camera like its siblings. There is only a single camera, which can meet the basic daily needs.
It is worth mentioning that the iPhone SE3 seems to adopt a face-to-face screen + right-angle middle frame solution. This simply means that the machine may use the iPhone 12 series mold. So most likely it will be a revised version of the iPhone 12 mini.
Other than that, the iPhone SE 3 will be Apple’s last mobile phone with an LCD display. This means those iPhone users that detest OLED displays will have few options left.
In terms of configuration, prior to this, we heard that Apple will equip the iPhone SE3 with the same A14 processor as the iPhone 12 series. It is known for its very strong performance and the ability for fighting against many Android models. Of course, it has nothing in common with the latest A15 chip. The gap is obvious. But when comparing even with the upcoming Snapdragon 898 and other high-end chips made for the Android camp, it still can make a tough competition.
As for the price, there are reports that iPhone SE3 will have two versions. Among them, the low-end version will cost US$499, whereas the high-end version will come at US$699.
So, the iPhone SE3 will also become the cheapest 5G iPhone ever, which may have a big impact on the mid-end Android phone market.
