Since it is a developer’s version, there are a few hiccups here and there but the overall performance is far better than the Android 11 version. The latest MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 12 did a good job with temperature control. It runs smoothly and the temperature is not high, much better than Android 11. However, the review of this system in China had a lot of complaints with respect to the personal income tax APP. According to Zhang Guoquan, director of Xiaomi’s system software department, developers of the personal income tax APP are already working on it.  This is not a job for Xiaomi but that of the developers of the app. Nevertheless, Mr. Zhang gives users the assurance that the app will be working before the end of the month.
