Redmi Note 11T 5G to launch in India on November 30

Redmi Note 11T 5G India launch

According to recent reports, Redmi India is gearing up to introduce a new device dubbed Redmi Note 11T 5G in the market. Interestingly, this will be the very first Redmi Note 11 smartphone to enter a “global market”. Back in October, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 11 series, but the devices are exclusive to the Chinese market. We expect the brand to eventually bring them to global markets with a hardware replacement. Anyway, the Redmi Note 11T 5G should be the very first handset to land in the sub-continent, but it’s not an entirely new handset for those following Xiaomi news.

According to reports, the Redmi Note 11T 5G will be a rebranded POCO M4 Pro 5G, which also sells as Redmi Note 11 5G in the Chinese market. The device is slated to cost around INR 15,000 or $200. It was rumored to hit India on November 30, and now the confirmation has arrived. The device was listed at Amazon and had a designated landing page with some marketing slogans.

The Redmi Note 11T is the direct sequel of the Redmi Note 10T 5G. Interestingly, this handset is also based on the POCO M3 Pro 5G apart from the design. It is also sold in China as Redmi Note 10 5G. Therefore, Redmi seems to be sticking with the last-gen strategy for the newer models.

Redmi Note 11T 5G specifications

The Redmi Note 11T will pack a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The device has a center-aligned punch-hole at the top for the selfie snapper. Under the hood, the handset packs a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage. Unlike the Chinese Redmi Note 11 smartphones, the device will bring a micro SD card for further memory expansion.

In terms of optics, the Note 11T has a dual-camera setup. There is a primary camera with PDAF and f/1.8 aperture and 50 MP resolution. The secondary snapper is an 8 MP ultrawide shooter. The selfie snapper is a 16 MP snapper with an f/2.5 aperture. Other features include Wi-Fi dual-band, Bluetooth 5.1, Stereo Speakers, NFC, and GPS with GLONASS, GALILEO, and BDS. The device has the iconic IR Blaster, FM Radio, and a USB Type C port.

The lights are kept by a huge 5,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast-charging support. The handset runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top and certainly is eligible for an update to Android 12 and MIUI 13.
