Another smartphone from the Chinese smartphone brand has reportedly popped up on a certification website. Aside from that, a Chinese source has indicated that the iQOO U5 will be sharing the stage with the iQOO U5x series. It is worth mentioning here that the Vivo subsidiary is still mum on its plan to launch the iQOO U5 series.
The word on the street is that the iQOO U5 and the iQOO U5x series will be successors to the well-received iQOO U3 and iQOO U3X smartphones. To recall, iQOO launched these 5G-enabled handsets back in March of this year. Regrettably, the iQOO U5 smartphone’s TENAA listing does not comprise an image of the purported smartphone. However, the iQOO U5 was spotted on the 3C certification website last month. The 3C listing revealed that the phone will come with a charging speed of 18W.

In terms of sensors, the U5 offers fingerprint, proximity, and light sensors. The phone’s dimensions are 164mm x 75.84mm x 8.25mm and it weighs about 185 grams. The 5G-ready variant of the U5X smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset. Likewise, the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset could be powering up the handset’s 4G model.
