Redmi Note 11S will be the first 1000 yuan ($157) phone that supports 120W charging

In the second half of 2021, Redmi launched the Redmi Note 11 series. The top version, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ supports 120W fast charging technology. This is the first time that a smartphone within the 2000 yuan ($313) price tag supports 120W charging. This is the fastest charging mobile phone in the same price range. We can safely call this smartphone the “king of fast charging” considering its charging capacity and price. Now, Redmi is about to release the new member of the Note series, Redmi Note 11S. According to a recent report, the Redmi Note 11S will hit the global market at the end of February.

At present, there are few details about Redmi Note 11S. However, it is worth noting that this device may not have a Chinese version. Also, it may be a 4G model and the price will be around 1000 yuan ($157). There are also speculations that this device will support up to 120W fast charging. If this happens, it will be the first smartphone in its price range to use such charging power.

There are also speculations that the Redmi Note 11S adopts a 90Hz high refresh rate full screen. Under the hood, there will be a MediaTek processor (model unknown). In the camera department, this smartphone will come with a 108MP main camera. It will also have an 8MP ultra-wide-angle and 2MP macro sensor.

In addition, Lu Weibing, general manager of the Redmi brand, confirmed that the Redmi Note series started with two iterations a year, positioning them as “small performance flagship” and “small experience flagship”. Taking into account the positioning of the Redmi Note 11 series as a “small flagship with experience”, the next-generation Redmi Note 12 series will be positioned as a “small flagship with performance”.

Lots of people do not want to buy a 5G phone, so if Xiaomi release a strong midrange phone like this with 120W fast charging Amoled display 120hz, 860 Snapdragon, good battery at least 5000mAh, a good optical Sony sensor chip ( and why not with OIS) android 12, display protection at least Gorilla Glass 5, stereo speakers, value for money price. Then this phone will be a real success.
