Samsung starts 2022 season in Singapore with Galaxy S21 FE and more

Samsung is expected to disclose its Galaxy S22 series very soon with the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and the S22 Ultra. However, while the new promising flagships don’t come, the company is keeping the market engaged with the Galaxy S21 FE. Today, the company is kickstarting another year in Singapore with the announcement of the new products. The Galaxy S21 FE stars but there are other products coming like a portable projector. Here is a quick roundup of all the technology that Samsung fans in Singapore will be able to find on the shelves.

Galaxy S21 FE

As aforementioned, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is the big star of the show. This smartphone passed the entire 2021 leaking in the wild, and also passed through several troubles amidst the crisis in the semiconductor industry. After serious troubles and a lack of enough units for launch, Samsung addressed the issues and made the device ready for this month. Now, it’s reaching the shelves in Singapore.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

The new Galaxy S21 FE 5G is available in Olive, Lavender, White, and Graphite Colorways and ships in variants with Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 depending on the region. The Galaxy S21 FE 5G also has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. Moving around to the back, we have a triple-camera setup with a 12 MP wide camera, a 12 MP ultrawide snapper, and an 8 MP telephoto shooter promising 30x Space Zoom as that’s the way Samsung calls Digital Zoom. For selfies and video calls, the device has a very capable 32 MP Selfie snapper.

The Galaxy S21 FE 5G currently retails for S$978 for the variant with 128 GB of Internal Storage and S$ 1,048 for the variant with 256 GB of Storage. Customers getting the device until January 31 will be gifted with Galaxy Buds 2 true wireless earphones that are worth S$ 248.

Galaxy Tab A8

Samsung is also bringing a new cost-effective tablet in the form of the Galaxy Tab A8. The new tablet boasts a 10.5-inch screen with minimal bezels and a standard 60 Hz refresh rate with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The device comes in variants with 32 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB of Internal Storage.

The wearable also improves in the multi-tasking department allowing its users to use two apps simultaneously with Multi-Active Window feature. Moreover, there is a built-in screen recording feature with multiple options and tweaks.

The slate comes with a rear 8 MP camera and a front-facing 5 MP camera. The device will reach the shelves in Singapore sometime this month.

Samsung Portable Projector: The Freestyle

Samsung is also bringing The Freestyle. It’s a portable projector, smart speakers, and ambient lighting device all in one. The Freestyle displays a crystal clear image on any surface at any angle.

The device can rotate up to 180 degrees and features 360 degrees sound, giving users a cinema-quality sound experience. No matter where you are, or where the image is being projected on, the experience is always immersive.

The product weighs just 830 grams and is portable and practical to move through your home. It’s also the first portable projector to offer Smart TV features and Voice control.

Samsung AirDresser

This one joins the select hall of crazy products you see from Samsung. The Samsung AirDresser is a steam laundry appliance that allows consumers to sanitize clothing or even common household items that are hard to clean such as toys, cloth masks, and beddings.

The AirDresser steams, airs, dries, and freshens up your clothes with the touch of a button. It penetrates deep into fabrics and removes around 99.9 percent of bacteria and viruses.
