It turns out both will have outsole full-focus sensors in terms of hardware and algorithms. Moreover, these brands will cooperate with Leica and Zeiss. Lastly, they are going to be good in terms of charging and endurance.

By the way, in the past few years, Huawei’s smartphones could reach the ceiling of mobile photography due to the cooperation with Leica. Now Xiaomi’s alliance with Leica can not only improve the photo effect but also help the company to stabilize the situation in the premium smartphone segment.

Xiaomi MIX 5 Series Specs

Xiaomiui previously found that the Xiaomi MIX 5 Pro (L1) is on the road and is going to hit the market soon. Both the Xiaomi MIX 5 and MIX 5 Pro are already in the final stage of development. The corresponding trademarks have also been registered abroad. As for the Xiaomi MIX 5 Pro, it will come with the next-generation Surge C2 chip, whereas the basic Xiaomi MIX 5 (L1A) will not.

According to the camera-related code, the MIX 5 Pro has the same “MIPISEL” character as the MIX FOLD and the unreleased MIX FLIP.

The previously released Surge C1 has a dual filter configuration, which can realize parallel processing of high and low-frequency signals. In effect, the signal processing efficiency is increased by 100%. With the self-developed algorithm, the 3A (AF, AWB, AE) performance of the image is greatly improved.

Other than that, the Xiaomi MIX 5 series models will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (SM8450) chip. The vanilla version uses a 50MP + 48MP + 48MP (0.5X, 1X, 5X) rear triple camera. It also supports 12x video and 120x 2x photo zoom. The front camera has a 48MP resolution (possibly using CUP technology). Under the screen, it ought to use a new generation of in-screen fingerprint technology. At the same time, the Pro variant should come with a periscope telephoto lens and support 100x zoom. It will use a 100-watt fast-charging large battery.

Prior to this, the same source stated that the standard version L2 of the Xiaomi MIX 5 was put on the production line in November last year. Also, the mass production of the high-end versions L1A and L1 will start later.
