Motorola Frontier With SD 8 Gen 1 Chip To Outdo Other Phones In 2022

Motorola Frontier

Speculations surrounding the Motorola Frontier suggest that it will be one of the best phones to launch in 2022. If rumors making the rounds online prove to be true, Motorola will soon unveil its new flagship handset with the highest-end specifications. Moreover, the phone could hit the store shelves carrying the Motorola Frontier moniker, according to leaks. While nothing is set in stone yet, the Lenovo-owned company has been on a launch spree.

To recall, Motorola recently took the wraps off a new tablet dubbed the Moto Tab G70. The most notable feature of this tablet is its 2K display. Aside from that, the word on the street is that the company is prepping to launch more products in the coming days. For instance, it is reportedly working on the Moto G Stylus 2022, which has also been floating around the rumor mill for quite some time now. Furthermore, the Moto G Stylus 2022 will be reportedly capable of meeting the expectations of consumers who fancy having everything in a single handset.

Motorola Frontier Could Outdo Other 2022 Phones

As expected, the Frontier will boast a jaw-dropped array of features, coupled with maxed-out specifications. For instance, it will reportedly come with a 200MP main camera, and pack the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood. Aside from that, the recently leaked display specs are quite impressive. In a new development, TechnikNews has managed to get its hands on some documents that prove that the Motorola Frontier will be a “next-generation” smartphone. Also, the report suggests that the handset will pack a processor codenamed Snapdragon SM8475. In other words, it will feature a next-gen processor.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

Gizchina News of the week

However, it is still unclear whether the phone will use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, or a Plus version processor. To recall, the Snapdragon 888 from 2021 had model number SM8350. Likewise, the older Snapdragon 865 was linked to model number SM8250. If Qualcomm sticks to this naming pattern, the SM8475 could be the next-gen chip. However, the chipset manufacturer is slated to unveil the Plus version of its flagship processor in 2022 as well. Therefore, it is not safe to assume whether the phone will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, or pack any other upcoming variant under the hood.

Specifications (Rumored)

Motorola has neither confirmed nor denied these speculations that have been making the rounds online lately. Nevertheless, the internet is teeming with reports that claim the Motorola Frontier will sport a .67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a very high 144Hz refresh rate. Regrettably, details about the handset’s battery capacity are still few and far between. Some reports suggest that the battery could offer 50W wireless charging and 125W wired charging support. Moreover, details about the handset’s camera setup have already popped up on the internet.

200MP camera

The Motorola Frontier will reportedly house a 200MP Samsung HP1 camera, a 50MP ultrawide Samsung JN1 camera, and a 12MP telephoto sensor at the back. Upfront, the phone could feature an impressive 60MP shooter for selfies and video calling. However, it is worth mentioning that megapixels do not necessarily determine image quality. For instance, the 12MP camera on the Google Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro have gained a lot of praise. It will be interesting to see how the Motorola Frontier performs in comparison to the likes of 2022 flagship offerings. It will be competing with flagships from Samsung, Apple, OnePlus, and other leading brands.
