iQOO Z6 5G launched with Snapdragon 695 and 5000mAh battery

iQOO Z6 5G

After long anticipation and many teasers, iQOO is finally here to introduce the iQOO Z6 5G in India. The iQOO Z5’s successor is a mid-range smartphone with a focus on affordability. However, it’s still a solid offering with a high-refresh-rate display, a huge battery, and a 5G chipset. Without further ado, let’s see what this device has in tow for the mid-range smartphone segment.

iQOO Z6 5G specifications

In terms of hardware, the iQOO Z6 5G packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. To those unaware, this chipset brings two ARM Cortex-A78 cores and is based on a very efficient 6 nm manufacturing process. The chipset is paired with an Adreno 619 which should ensure modest gaming performance. Moreover, there are variants with 4 GB of RAM, 6 GB of RAM, and even 8 GB of RAM. Storage-wise the device has only 128 GB no matter the selected option. To ensure performance, the phone comes with a five-layer liquid cooling system to avoid abrupt throttling on performance.

The specifications come around a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The panel has a waterdrop notch at the top for the 16 MP selfie snapper. Moving around to the back we have a 50 MP primary camera, and two 2 MP modules for macro and depth sensing. The phone comes with a layer of Funtouch OS 12 running, thankfully, above Android 12 OS. The iQOO Z6 5G draws its powers from a 5,000 mAh battery with 18 W charging. The handset also has a fingerprint scanner and a bottom-mounted 3.5 mm headphone jack.
