Huawei rolls out EMUI 12 update to the P30 smartphones

EMUI 12

Huawei has just started rolling out the EMUI 12 update to all P30 smartphones globally. This update, eagerly awaited by users, allows you to take advantage of several new features directly inspired by Harmony OS.

Last summer, Huawei lifted the veil on the EMUI 12 update. This new version of the Chinese group’s Android interface adds several features borrowed from Harmony OS, such as a cleaner general design, access to notifications and a brand new control panel.

Unsurprisingly, many Huawei phones are compatible with the update. Many devices, launched before the brand was deprived of the Android license, are affected by this new version of the overlay. This is the case of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro. Launched in 2019 before US sanctions, both devices have remained very popular among users.

As promised, Huawei has therefore just launched the deployment of the EMUI 12 update, in a final and stable version, on P30/P30 Pro worldwide. Many users from different countries have already been able to install the firmware.

Note that the Chinese brand has taken a little ahead of its schedule. Initially, Huawei planned to push EMUI 12 in April 2022. Based on previous statements from the brand, the rollout should end around the middle of next month.
