Last year, key details about the Asus ROG Zephrus Duo 16 GX650 had surfaced online, teasing the presence of an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processor. The new Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 2022 gaming laptop comes with the latest processor. Aside from this, it ships with ample memory and power-packed hardware. In other words, the 2022 edition offers an overall superior gaming experience. Furthermore, the company claims that the laptop is portable, powerful, and delivers unbelievable speed.

The base model of the Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 2022 will set you back INR 1,79,990. Moreover, the gaming laptop has gone up for sale starting on Friday, April 8. You can purchase it from offline stores including Vijay Sales, Reliance, and Croma. Alternatively, you can head straight to Amazon or the Asus e-shop to place your order. Asus has been tightening its grip on India’s gaming laptop market for quite some time now. To recall, the company had launched the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop in the country a couple of years ago.

In March this year, Asus unveiled a slew of products including the Asus TUF A17, TUF A15, F17, and F15 in the country. With this aggressive approach, the company is locking horns with other brands like Lenovo and HP. The Zephyrus M16 2022 will be available in two variants, with each packing a different CPU. For instance, the first comes with a 12th-Gen Intel Core i9-12900H. Likewise, the other model ships with Core i7-12700H. The gaming laptop comes in three different models based on the GPU.
These include the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080Ti, RTX 3060, and the RTX 3070Ti GPU. Furthermore, these variants have a MUX switch to toggle between GPUs for improved battery life or performance. Aside from this, it has up to 32GB DDR5 RAM, which can be further upgraded up to 48GB. Moreover, there’s onboard memory of 16GB. The ROG Zephyrus M16 2022 offers up to 1x M2 2280 PCIe 4.0 2TB SSD in terms of storage capacity. Also, it supports 2x M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD slots.
For connectivity, the new Asus gaming laptop provides multiple options including a 3.5mm audio jack, Kensington Lock, RJ45, Kensington Lock, and a MicroSD card reader. In addition to this, it features 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4, and Power Delivery. There’s also a Thunderbolt 4 (USB 4.0, DP 1.4, and PD 3.0) slot. The laptop sports a 16-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) IPS screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Moreover, this display provides DCI-P3 100% color gamut and a peak brightness of 500 nits.
