NFT Instagram

According to online sources, this week social network Instagram will begin testing support for non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which are commonly used to confirm the authenticity and uniqueness of digital art and collectibles.

At this stage, a limited number of US users will be able to use compatible cryptocurrency wallets; to retrieve the NFTs they hold and post associated images on their Instagram page. According to available data, during the testing of the new feature; users will be able to publish NFTs for free by linking their cryptocurrency wallets to the social network profile in the application.

According to the source, Instagram has already implemented support for the Ethereum and Polygon blockchains, and later Flo wand Solana will be added to them. As for crypto wallets, you can link Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase, Dapper and Phantom wallets to your Instagram account.

Meta to integrate Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on Instagram

“We will soon be launching digital collectibles on Facebook and also allowing users to post and share their digital collectibles as AR stickers on Instagram Stories, bringing the benefits of this technology to more content creators and collectors,” commented This question is representative of Meta. It is also known that users will soon be able to interact with augmented reality NFT tokens through Spark AR Studio, a Meta software product designed to create animated masks, games and effects on Instagram.

Instagram Threads-2

It seems that NFTs will become much more widespread in the near future; and a huge number of people will encounter non-fungible tokens one way or another.

The thing is that NFTs will soon appear on Instagram. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the company intends to introduce NFTs to Instagram in the near future.

We are working on bringing NFT to Instagram soon. I’m not ready to announce exactly what it will be today; but over the next few months there will be an opportunity to introduce some of your NFTs; and hopefully over time you will be able to create things in this environment.

That is, firstly, the introduction should complete within a few months. Secondly, at the first stage, users of the social network will at least have the opportunity to somehow enter the NFTs they already have on Instagram. It is quite possible that everything will start with account avatars. But we also see that Meta wants more, so that in the end; some toolkit for creating NFTs may appear on the platform.

Given the number of people who use Instagram; it is Meta that can seriously contribute to the popularization of NFT among ordinary users.
