Vivo T2 pricing info emerges ahead of launch

Vivo T2

Vivo is definitely on a roll. The Chinese brand has been launching a plethora of smartphones since April. The list includes super flagships such as the Vivo X Fold, Vivo X Pad, and Vivo X80 series. More recently, the company launched the Vivo S15 and S15 Pro in China. It’s moving to introduce the Vivo V25 Pro 5G series in India, and will also introduce a device dubbed Vivo T2. Apparently, it’s more than a single smartphone, but an entire series. But today, a couple of details of the Vivo T2 have been revealed. The pricing info has emerged along with some key specifications.

Vivo T2 Specifications

The Vivo T2 sports a design similar to the iQOO Neo 6 launching in India. The device packs a square-shaped camera module and also a triple-camera array. The phone has a punch-hole cutout at the front, with the cutout at the top center. According to leaked specifications, the phone packs a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution of around 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. Furthermore, it offers support for a 120 Hz refresh rate. The leaks point to a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 91.4 percent screen to body ratio which is awesome.

In terms of optics, the Vivo T2 will come with a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2 MP macro snapper. It’s the usual combo for mid-range smartphones, but it’s good to see an ultrawide snapper here. For selfies and video calls, the handset will pack a 16 MP selfie shooter.

Under the hood, the phone will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Interestingly, there are more phones launching this year with the Snapdragon 870 SoC. Apparently, companies are picking this over the Snapdragon 778G in certain cases. Anyway, we expect the phone to have 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of Internal Storage. The AMOLED screen will grant this device an in-display fingerprint scanner.
