Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro passes by Bluetooth SIG

Samsung is gearing up to introduce a new contender for the Galaxy XCover lineup. The new device will carry Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro specifications. The handset already appeared in renders and the design was revealed through leaks. As usual, the new phones will bring the iconic rugged design of the series. The device also appeared a few days ago, on the Google Play Console Listing. This hints at an imminent release. Now, the upcoming rugged flagship has just emerged on the Bluetooth SIG certification. Therefore, we can conclude that the launch is very close to happening.

Interestingly, the Bluetooth SIG confirms the imminent arrival of the rugged phone from Samsung. Interestingly, Samsung is one of the few “mainstream” smartphone companies that bet on the rugged segment. We have a lot of “unconventional” phones from minor brands and even known names, but the Korean is one of the few companies making “regular” and “rugged” phones, although it’s limited to this particular lineup. The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro was arrive as a successor for the Galaxy XCover Pro that was revealed in 2020. Fans of the company’s rugged range had to wait a long time for a proper sequel, but it’s finally coming.

The upcoming Galaxy XCover 6 Pro was previously spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database and the Google Play Console database. The listing had already confirmed that the upcoming XCover smartphone will carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. Furthermore, it will pack the Adreno 642L GPU, and 6 GB of RAM. The handset will also run Android 12 straight out of the box which is hardly a surprise. Samsung is, perhaps, the best Android OEM when comes to updates in 2022. The company will likely provide the latest One UI 4.1 straight out of the box.
