Realme Pad X 5G Debuts In India With Smart Keyboard And Pencil


The Realme Pad X was first launched in China earlier this year in the month of May. Today, the Indian model was debuted with 5G connectivity. The device came with a new feature called Limelight, a feature that works like apple’s center stage. It currently supports Google Duo, Google Meet and Zoom.

Apart from the 5G and the Limelight Feature, the rest of the specs of the Indian version matches that of the Chinese Version. Talking of specs, the Realme Pad X is powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset. On the display side, it features a, 10.95-inch widescreen ultra extended graphics array ( WUXGA+) screen and a massive 8,340mAh battery. It also packs 33W wired charging and supports wired reverse charging.

The Realme Pad X 5G also comes with the Realme UI3.0 skin for Realme Pad. In terms of connectivity, the Realme Pad X comes as the first ever Realme tablet to support Multi-Screen collaboration. This feature allows selected Realme smartphones to cast their screens to the Realme tablet for easy file transfer and productivity. Currently, the only devices that support this feature are Realme GT 2 Pro, GT Neo 2, GT Neo 3, GT Neo 3T, and GT Master Edition. Realme has promised to add more devices with such capability to the list.

Camera Details

The Realme Pad X 5G sports a 13 Megapixels rear camera lens. The camera is not only for taking pictures and videos, you can also use the front camera to transcribe text from pictures using the text scanner feature. The front facing camera is also equipped with an 8 Megapixels lens and can capture as high as 105 degrees Field Of View (FOV).

Other Details Of The Realme Pad X 5G

Other details of the Realme Pad X include a USB-C port, DC Dimming, and quad speakers with Hi-Resolution Audio and Dolby Atmos support.

The Realme Pad X offers 3 colors in Glacier Blue and Glowing Grey in India. There is a third color which is the green color, but according the Realme, that color is exclusive to Chinese Market only.Realme Pad XRealme Pad X

Realme Smart Keyboard

Realme also launched the Realme Pencil and Realme Smart Keyboard on the same day that they launched the  Realme Pad X in India.

The Realme Smart Keyboard as advertised by Realme, can run on battery for as long as 112 hours of continuous typing per charge. The 280mAh battery packed smart keyboard also has a key travel of 1.33mm which makes it comfortable and minimizes noise when typing. Pairing the Smart Keyboard is also simple. Realme Pencil

The Realme Pencil is made with polycarbonate material measuring just 16.5 grams in weight. According to Realme, the pencil has 4,096 pressure sensitivity and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The pencil works even at a tilted angle of 60 Degrees. And can offer up to 10.6 hours of continuous work per charge. Charging the Realme pencil is quite simple as well. Just attach the pencil to the Realme Pad X and the Pad X will charge the pencil.

Prices Of The Realme Pad X 5G, Realme Smart Keyboard and Realme Pencil.

Starting from the Realme Pad X. The Wi-Fi only version which comes with 64GB storage and 4GB of RAM cost INR17,999 ($225 / €220). The 5G variant comes in two options. The 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM version costing INR25,999 ($325/€320). And the 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM going for  INR27,999 ($350/€345).

The Realme Smart Keyboard  costs INR4,999 ($63/€61) and the price of the Realme Pencil is set at INR5,499 ($69/€68).

August 1st 2022 is the set date for the Realme Pad X to go on sale. It will go on sale on Indian online marketplace Flipkart, Realme.com and mainline channels. Even though the Realme pencil and the Realme Smart Keyboard do not have any given sales date yet, what we can confirm is that they will both be sold on Flipkart and Realme.com.
