Though Moore’s law works for many cases, when it comes to batteries, it has nothing to do. The law reads that the productivity of processors is doubled every 18 months. Thus, every one and a half years, smartphones become twice faster. But as you know, faster performance requires more energy. And if the manufacturers have no chance to place a larger capacity battery inside the same-size body, they have to think about fast charging. This is the main reason why fast charging technologies are too popular nowadays. And this is the main reason why VIVO’s sub-brand has decided to launch a fast-charging variant of the iQOO Z6 5G.

In India, the iQOO Z6 5G performs quite well. Generally, the Z line is a best-seller in this market. So it sounds logical why the company has decided to bring fast charging to this model especially.

The series includes three smartphones. What’s more interesting, they all come with different charging speeds. For instance, the vanilla iQOO Z6 5G supports 18W fast charging, the iQOO Z6 Pro got a 66W fast charging support, while the iQOO Z6 comes with support for 44W charging speed.

iQOO Z6 5G Features

As for the rest of the features, we only know that apart from the fast charging, it will come with a Snapdragon 7 series SoC from Qualcomm. If nothing accidental happens, the phone will appear on the shelves as soon as next month.

By the way, recently, there was a mysterious iQOO Z6x spotted on the Google Play supported devices list. But we have no clue whether these two are the same device or not.

Anyway, from various tipsters, we heard that the upcoming device would sport a 120Hz LCD panel, a 64MP triple camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. In this regard, we must recall the Snapdragon 695-powered iQOO Z6 5G Indian variant. The latter also comes with a 120Hz LCD panel and a 5,000mAh battery. But it supports just 18W charging.
