It has been a while since the last “big release” for the OnePlus Nord series. While a new smartphone does not come, the company keeps upgrading its portfolio of accessories. The OnePlus Nord Watch is just an example. In other words, it’s expanding the Nord series to reach other audiences. Today, the company is introducing brand new OnePlus Nord Wired earphones. Nowadays, true wireless earbuds may be a tendency, however, there are a couple of companies that invest in wired ones. The OnePlus Nord Wired Earphones will come to India to compete with other brands that are well-established in the segment. As usual in the Nord series, the company has a pricing appeal that counts in its favor.
OnePlus Nord Wired Earphones features
To those unaware, the OnePlus Nord wired earphones clearly follow the design guidelines introduced within the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z. The new wired earphones have an angular ear tip that fits comfortably in your ears. Furthermore, there is an inline microphone featuring buttons for call control. You can also use the buttons for media playback controls, and even trigger the voice assistant.

To easily keep your earphone organized, the earbuds can be stuck together. The hearables have small magnetics to do this work. Interestingly, it can recognize whether you’re attaching or detaching them. It will resume or pause the music playback depending on the action. OnePlus currently offer three pair of interchangeable silicone tips. These come in S, M, and L sizes for different tastes and ear sizes. Last but not least, in terms of build, the earbuds come with IPX4 certification ensuring water and sweat resistance.
In terms of audio, the OnePlus Nord wired earphones to come with a 9.2 mm dynamic driver and ensuring a rich audio experience. Furthermore, the hearables come with driver sensitivity of 110±2dB and 102dB sound pressure. You can connect the Nord Wired earphones to basically everything from laptops to portable gaming consoles. Similarly, you can use it on Nord phones as long as they still have 3.5 mm headphone jacks. That means that you can’t use them on current OnePlus flagships.
The new OnePlus Nord Wired earphones will sell in India for INR 799 which is just around $10. The wearable comes in a single Black colorway and is available on Amazon.in and on the OnePlus website. The shipments will begin by September 1st.
