A recently surfaced iPhone 14 Pro mockup video has given us a glimpse into the awe-inspiring design of the next iPhones. Apple will be unveiling a myriad of new products at its Far Out event later this week. Notably, this will be the company’s first physical event since the Covid-19 pandemic forced businesses to host online-only launch events. It is no secret that Apple will announce the iPhone 14 series at the impending event.
While there’s a lot of hype surrounding the next iPhones, the iPhone 14 Pro has been creating more buzz lately. So, the Pro model has been subject to a lot of leaks and speculations. For instance, a new leak claims that the iPhone 14 Pro series is tipped to get a larger battery and sport an AOD display. Now, a new video featuring an iPhone 14 Pro dummy mockup has surfaced online.

The video shared by noted leaker Ice Universe shows the iPhone 14 Pro in full glory. In the mockup teaser, iPhone 14 Pro appears to adopt a new pill and dot-shaped notch design. Notably, the dot notch will be reportedly available only on the Pro models. So, the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus will probably come with a pill-shaped notch for the front shooter. Furthermore, the Pro models appear to adopt a significantly different design than the rest of the iPhone 14 series smartphones.

Interestingly, the left edge of the phone houses the volume buttons and the alert slider. The right side accommodates the power button, just like the current generation iPhone 13 Pro. Moreover, the rear-mounted camera setup looks similar. So, it is safe to say that the upgrades would be internal, while the outward lens design will remain the same. As per a report by 91mobiles, the iPhone 14 Pro could retain the Lightning port at the bottom, rather than the USB-C port.
For those unaware, a new law in the European Union requires all smartphones in the EU to feature a USB-C port by the fall of 2024. Notably, this includes Apple iPhones as well. Under the hood, the iPhone 14 Pro could pack a new generation A16 SoC. Also, it will probably feature a 48MP camera on the back. The word on the street is that the new iPhones will get satellite connectivity support.
