Lava Blaze 5G Is India’s Cheapest 5G Smartphone

Lava Blaze 5G

Usually, we praise the top-end smartphones, talk with respect about the mid-range models, and recommend low-end smartphones to kids or elderlies. However, all we said above refers to the top brands. What about not the first-tier smartphone brands? Apart from the copycat brands, only a few can make truly worthy models. Lava is among them. Today, during Mobile India 2022, the company launched a new 5G smartphone, considered the cheapest 5G handset in the country. The Lava Blaze 5G comes with a Dimensity 700 chip and a few other interesting features.

Lava Blaze 5G Highlights

The Lava Blaze 5G has a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720p. The screen also supports a 90Hz refresh rate. Because of the LCD material, the manufacturer has had to place fingerprint recognition on the side.

Besides the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, there is also a 4GB+128GB storage combination. But the latter can be expanded via the microSD card slot.

The next noteworthy features include a 50-megapixel main camera on the back and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Yes, you read it correctly – it’s a single-lens camera, but its resolution is 50 megapixels. So we believe it will be able to capture quite good photos.

The battery capacity is 5000mAh, which can be said to be standard for low-end models like the Lava Blaze 5G.

Also, our protagonist runs the Android 12 system and has various connectivity options, such as a USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.1, two SIM cards, and dual VoLTE.

The Lava Blaze 5G phone will start shipping during the Diwali festival, that is, on October 24. According to the company, it will be available in blue and green colors and will cost around 10,000 Indian rupees (about $123). If so, it will be truly the cheapest 5G smartphone in India. But is there a huge demand for such models in India?
