Chinese manufacturer, Honor, is doing quite well in the smartphone market. After disassociating from Huawei, the company is now back in full force. Honor releases decent devices every year and its smartphones are selling well within and outside China. Thankfully, Honor smartphones come with Google Play Store, thus, they are sellable outside China. Today, Honor held a press conference where it officially announced its new smartphone. The company officially released the new Honor Play 40 Plus. One of the major selling points of this smartphone is its super large battery.

Honor Play 40 Plus specs
The new smartphone has a large 6000 mAh battery and it supports a decent over 20W fast charge. This device also uses a main 50MP ultra-clear sensor as well as 256GB storage. The starting price of this device is 1199 yuan ($165) and t is now available on pre-sale. The first official sales of this device will commence on October 28th.
The Honor Play 40 Plus uses a 6.74-inch water drop screen with a high screen ratio of 90.07%. This device also supports a 90Hz refresh rate and it has the Rhine eye protection certification. In addition to its side fingerprint sensor, it offers four colours. There are purple, blue, silver and black versions. The body size is 76.85mm wide, 167.48mm long, and 8.27mm thick, and the body weighs 196g.
Under the hood, the Play 40 Plus has the Dimensity 700 processor and supports 5G. With a built-in 6000 mAh large battery, it can play short videos for 23 hours and watch dramas for 25 hours. It supports 22.5W super-fast charging, and the official said that charging for 10 minutes can watch the show for 3 hours. There is a rear 50-megapixel main camera and a front-facing 5-megapixel camera. In other respects, the Honor Play 40 Plus retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of price, the Honor Play 40 Plus 8GB+128GB version sells for 1399 yuan ($193). However, the 8GB+256GB version sells for 1599 yuan ($221).
