Xiaomi 13 series is set for global launch

Xiaomi 13

In December last year, Xiaomi released the Xiaomi 13 series of flagship mobile phones in the Chinese market. The Xiaomi 13 series has two models and these devices include the Xiaomi 13 as well as the Xiaomi 13 Pro. A few weeks after the release of this mobile phone, the sales of this device in China is massive. The high acceptance of this device in China is instigating its global launch. This will also serve as compensation for the top-notch Xiaomi 12S that did not launch globally. According to recent reports, it appears that the Xiaomi 13 series is now making its way to the global market. There are reports that the company will officially announce the global version of these devices at MWC 2023.

Xiaomi 13 series gets BIS & NBTC certifications

To further confirm the reports that these devices will launch globally, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has now been certified by India’s BIS. This indicates that the launch of this device is imminent in India. India is a very lucrative market for the Chinese brand. Xiaomi has been on top of the Indian mobile phone market for several years consecutively. In addition to the Indian BIS certification, the Xiaomi 13 series (both standard and Pro versions) has been certified by Thailand’s NBTC.

The leakster, Mukul Sharma found that the Xiaomi 13 Pro (model Xiaomi 2210132G) has been certified by BIS in India. The device was also spotted on the NBTC certification website, where it was marked alongside its counterpart, the standard Xiaomi 13 (model number 2211133G). Both devices will be 5G phones, as the NBTC certification shows.

Looking at the Chinese version of this device, the Xiaomi 13 Pro comes with a 6.73-inch QHD+ 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Xiaomi 13 / 13 Pro hits the market with discount

The launch of the Xiaomi 13 series took place on the evening of December 11th, 2022 at a press conference. The first official sales of these mobile phones started the same day. After the first official sales of the Xiaomi 13 series, its popularity became very obvious. The series sold out swiftly both in the pre-sale and in the direct sales. Last week, at JD.com, the company activated another round of sales due to the high demand for the series. However, this new sale came with a small discount to appreciate users who had to wait and stay in long queues to get this device. Xiaomi offered to give 24 periods of interest-free, plus a free JD.com Plus membership annual card for that sale alone. Although the company is now focusing on the global launch of this device, Chinese users need not worry. The company will probably hold another round of sales in the coming weeks.
