Grand Theft Auto Online Has An Exploit To Affect You

Grant Theft Auto Online

Grand Theft Auto Online is now facing an exploit. The exploit is just resetting the game progress of players. And players are losing their in-game currency. Not only this, many accounts are facing bans or getting corrupt.

The main origin of this exploit is North Online GTA cheat mod. A remote code execution was launched through the developer.

Reportedly, it has the power to affect anyone in the game. Also, the multiplayer lobby is at the same risk as the attacker. Further, both online and PC players are at risk of potential attacks.

Yet, console players are safe for now. Rockstar, the GTA developer, has yet to speak about this. For the time being, the company accepts this on its Twitter account.

Earlier, the North Grand Theft Auto Online developer removed the offensive stuff. They apologized and published on their changelogs the following message:

Previous Penalties on Grant Theft Auto Online Cheat Makers:

Rockstar does not block its community that makes harmless cheat mods. Even people who spread cheats and other hacks are affecting the competition in the game. Now, the company plans to punish them.

Once, Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar have taken legal actions against specific players. Cheat makers are now facing a severe challenge.

The company was successful in setting a heavy penalty for infinite money hacks. The cheat maker was fined $150,000 for creating bad cheats. Also, an attorney fee was ordered to pay separately.

This time, corrupt accounts have to face a worse thing. Several players say that they are still losing their in-game progress. And they are also losing their in-game currency. Yet, there is a solution to regain their game loss.

Deleting a folder “Rockstar Games” from the Windows Documents works well. However, you need to do this before reloading the game. In such a scenario, we suggest you quit playing Grand Theft Auto Online’s PC version until the company fixes the bug.
