Xiaomi Group President, Lu Weibing, has made a statement regarding the upcoming release of the Redmi Note 12T series. Previously, Weibing announced that the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series SoC, codenamed SM7475, would debut in the Redmi Note 12T series. However, he has now clarified that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip.

During the presentation of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC, Weibing revealed that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo would be officially launched before the end of March 2023. Additionally, it will feature a new Rage Engine 2.0 engine, designed to enhance gaming performance.
