Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has announced the release of a new smartphone model in its Redmi Note lineup, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G. However, we should not confuse this new phone with any of the existing Redmi Note 12 Pros. The phone supports 4G networks only, and the company has provided little information on its features and specifications, which has left many people perplexed.

The new Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G was recently launched in Indonesia, and it is equipped with a Snapdragon 732G chipset, a 108MP main camera, and a camera island that is reminiscent of the Redmi Note 11 series. The Qualcomm chipset in the phone is almost three years old and maxes out at LTE speeds. Despite this limitation, it is still a capable processor, with two big CPU cores running at 2.3 GHz. This chipset was previously featured in the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which was launched in March 2021.

The phone also boasts a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W. Which is a familiar feature of the Redmi Note lineup, spanning across three generations. The screen of the phone is a 120Hz panel, likely a 6.67” AMOLED panel. With a single punch hole in the center. Other specs of the phone include 4K video recording, stereo speakers and a 3.5mm audio jack. As well as support for Dolby Vision Atmos.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G will be available for purchase in May in Indonesia. However, it is unclear whether this exact smartphone model will become official in other markets or regions. Xiaomi has not provided any further information on the phone’s availability, and it remains to be seen whether the company will release this particular model in other countries.

Overall, the launch of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G has generated a lot of interest among smartphone enthusiasts, who are eagerly anticipating the release of more information about the phone’s features and specifications. While the phone has only 4G networks support, it still boasts impressive features such as a powerful chipset. A large battery with fast charge, and a high refresh rate screen. It remains to see whether the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G will be a hit among consumers. Or whether it will not have a place among other smartphones on the market.
