One of the most active sections for mobile phone brands recently has been the camera department. The 200MP Motorola X40, the one-inch Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and the Huawei Mate50 series with variable aperture tech are just a few of the new devices that hit the market in 2022. Mobile phone brands will most likely continue to develop mobile cameras in 2023. According to a recent report from China Mobile quoting a tech blogger, the 50MP Sony IMX890 is not the only telephoto solution with a huge bottom and gloomy light. This is based on the mobile phone cameras that are already available in the market.

Mobile phones with telephoto sensors will flood the market
It is rumoured that the periscope telephoto lens solutions with a large bottom, large pixels, and ultra-high pixels may be a standard kit on the next flagship models of many mobile phone brands. These brands might add the telephoto lens as a new way to enhance the imaging ability of flagship models. Of course, this will be a crucial growth direction for many brands. Further rumours suggest that producers may employ Samsung’s HPX sensor to make a telephoto lens. In October 2022, Samsung released this sensor. Its setup is comparable to Samsung’s earlier HP3. The sensor size is 1/1.4 inch, and the pixel size is 0.56 m. It has a 200MP maximum for photographs. It can also immediately output 50MP images after combining four pixels.
Moreover, the Samsung HPX may attain greater light levels at night, thanks to its bigger pixel size. Samsung HPX supports 8K 30-frame video recording. Due to the fact that there is no official info regarding the upgrades by each brand, mobile phone makers are only projecting how they intend to use the Samsung HPX to develop telephoto lenses. This growth path will be very important for mobile brands including the likes of Apple and Samsung.
