The Samsung Galaxy S23 on its own is a powerful camera phone. It is the actual camera to compete with in this modern era. However, the South Korean company is determined to push things to the pinnacle.
There is a new app in the Galaxy Store for users of the Galaxy S23. It is a new introduction so it is currently in its beta stage. The Galaxy Enhance-X app is made to make photo enhancement a very easy task. It takes advantage of AI and Machine Learning to enhance photos by just a single tap.
The app automatically detects all the issues with the photos and apply the necessary fixes. It does this by using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
How Enhance-X App Works
The Enhance-X app can work on its own which is the fastest. It can also work step-by-step by taking you through the process.
It can do everything automatically by simply tapping on the Magic Enhancer button. With the manual step-by-step process, the user can touch on the individual enhancement features manually.
The user can touch on the overall brightness, shadows, highlights as well as contrast. This helps the user enhance the image to suit their personal preferences.
Currently, there are dozens of photo enhancement apps. However, the Enhance-X app for the Galaxy S23 takes things further. It has a shadow removal tool. This can automatically detect distracting shadows and get rid of them.
Also, there is a feature called Moiré removal tool. This tool is very useful for enhancing photos that was taken from a TV screen. This tool enhances such images by removing banding and unnecessary reflections.

Another interesting feature is the image upscaling feature. The AI algorithms is able to upscale images by up to 4x the resolution. So, if you have any low quality images that are less than 1 Megapixel, no problem. Just import the image into the Enhance-X app and leave the rest for artificial intelligence.
Availability of Galaxy Enhance-X App
Galaxy Enhance-X is currently only available for the Galaxy S23 Series. Samsung has stated that its complex AI deep learning requires high-end hardware performance. However, the South Korean tech company made mention of support for Galaxy S22 and Galaxy A-series. The company is currently working on support for these smartphones.
There is no statement on when it will be available. But since it is under development, it should be available soon.
