Huawei P60 Pro unveiled As A Game Changer in Mobile Photography with a Catch

Huawei P60 Pro

Huawei has launched the P60 Pro, a flagship phone with trendy mobile photography features. The device has a few downsides- no 5G support or native Google services. The P60 Pro boasts an impressive camera setup and performance features but may leave some users wanting more.

Huawei P60 Pro Features And Specifications

The Huawei P60 Pro stands out with its 48 MP primary camera sensor. The main lens features a variable physical aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/4.0. This unique feature, previously seen on Samsung’s Galaxy S9, allows for better light capture and adjustment to different environments.

The P60 Pro also includes a 48 MP ultra-bright telephoto lens with f/2.1 aperture, capable of 3.5x optical zoom. In addition, This promises to deliver high-quality, clear shots even when zoomed in and in low-light conditions. Complementing the camera setup is an ultra-wide-angle module.

Specialist DXOMARK crowned the Huawei P60 Pro as the best camera phone on the market, outperforming the OPPO Find X6 Pro and HONOR Magic5 Pro.

Gizchina News of the week

The P60 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, which puts it a generation behind its competition. Furthermore, it features a 6.67-inch AMOLED LTPO screen with a 2700 x 1220p resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Kunlun glass, and the phone is certified water and dust-resistant according to IP68 standards.

One of the P60 Pro’s major drawbacks is the lack of 5G support. Users will have to rely on 4G mobile networks, which might disappoint those seeking a premium smartphone experience.

Due to ongoing US and international sanctions, Huawei cannot natively offer Google services, including the Play Store, on its P60 Pro. The device comes with EMUI 13.1, Huawei’s in-house software overlay based on Android 12.
