Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is right around the corner. Scheduled for July 27, 2023, the event is expected to bring a second round of updates to the existing Samsung Galaxy lineup. And if you are wondering, the first Unpacked event took place on February 1, 2023, which brought out the Galaxy S23 series.
Nonetheless, as we are slowly marching toward the second Galaxy Unpacked event for the year, details about the upcoming devices have slowly started to come out. And just today, the official press renders of the brand-new devices have been unveiled. They tell you everything you need to know before the event takes place.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 Are Confirmed for the Upcoming Unpacked Event
Considering the high level of anticipation for the Z Flip 5, thereās no denying that it is the star of the show. As of now, the Z Flip 5 is confirmed to come with a large cover display, which makes it a worthy competitor against Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. In addition, it will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Some other expected features of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 include an IP57 rating, an improved 12MP primary camera, and a better hinge mechanism than the predecessor. The second highlight of the Galaxy Unpacked event is the Galaxy Z Fold 5. As the press renders show, the phone will feature the same design as the Z Fold 4.
Besides that, the renders do not really give you anything more. But the expected features include a waterdrop-shaped hinge, which will reduce the screen crease. This hinge design will also leave no gap between the two halves of the device. Similar to Galaxy Z Flip 5, the Fold 5 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
Moreover, the device will support the S Pen Fold Edition. This pen lets you get the most out of the large-sized inner screen. And considering the fact that the Z Fold 5 will have a powerful processor, you can stay very productive with this combination.
Galaxy Tab S9 Series Is Coming at the Galaxy Unpacked Event Too!
The Galaxy Tab S9 series will bring Another big upgrade to the current lineup. And as you are seeing the press renders here, the series is confirmed to be unveiled at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. That said, the image also gives you a hint that the upcoming devices will be water-resistant.

While the official press renders do not tell you anything about the specs, rumor has it that the models will utilize AMOLED panels. Looking back, the predecessors utilize LCD displays. And AMOLED screens are much better than the LCD displays. You get better colors and enhanced viewing angles.
Moreover, the three models that will be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event will share many other features. That includes the exclusive Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 āFor Galaxyā chipset, One UI 5.1.1, and S Pen support.
Galaxy Watch 6 Is Bringing Back the Iconic Rotating Bezel
Besides phones and tablets, Samsung will unroll the curtains on the Galaxy Watch 6 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event. And the great part is that the Watch 6 Classic is now confirmed to bring back an iconic feature, the rotating bezel.
But if you are not a fan of it, there will be a standard version too. Called the Galaxy Watch 6, it will have a design thatās similar to the Galaxy Watch 5 series. Not much is known about the features of these watches. However, the press renders do show that both smartwatches have thinner bezels.
Thanks to that, you will have more of the Super AMOLED screen on the watches. Other expected features include a wide array of fitness and health monitoring features. For example, you can expect to see ECG, heart-rate monitor, compass, accelerometer, gyro, and blood pressure measurement.
Besides, both the smartwatches will run on Wear OS 4. Itās based on One UI 5 Watch, which brings a couple of notable updates from the last UI. You can expect to know all about the watches at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
Galaxy Buds 3 Will Be Unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked Event
The first two Galaxy Buds saw a two-year gap. Samsung released the Galaxy Buds in March 2019, while the Galaxy Buds 2 launched in August 2021. And as the Buds 2 are slowly closing into its 2nd year anniversary, Samsung is ready with the Galaxy Buds 3. It will be unveiled at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event!
However, we do not really know much about the new wireless buds. Even the press renders do not give much detail. The only that the renders confirms is a similar design to the Galaxy Buds 2. However, as Samsung offered quite a decent amount of upgrades with the Galaxy Buds 2, we are expecting to see the same with Buds 3.
