The new feature is called “Song Credits”, which will include information about the people who have worked on the song. This includes song writers, lyricists and producers. With this information, you can be able to search similar songs that match your taste. All you have to do is to tap on one of the credited people to see other songs that they have worked on. For example, if you like the instrumentals of the song, you can tap on the name of the producer in order to see other songs that they have produced.

This upgrade will also give due recognition to individuals involved in creating specific songs. During the days of media players, you could find most of such information on the media player interface. The recent days of online streaming has changed things quite a bit. This feature will come together with Apple’s next major software update which is the iOS 17. The final version of the software update will be available somewhere later part of the year. This should be around the launch date of the iPhone 15 series. However, those who want to enjoy the new feature ahead of the final launch date can do so by installing the Beta version of the iOS 17.
