iQOO Z9 Turbo launches as an affordable flagship with a large battery

The much-teased iQOO Z9 Turbo has finally been fully unveiled in China. It rivals the recently launched Redmi Turbo 3 with the same starting price, which is CNY 1,999 (about $276). The phone even has the same SoC as the Redmi phone, making it a direct competitor.

Of course, there are a couple of differences between the two. For example, the iQOO Z9 Turbo comes with a slightly better screen and a larger battery. Nonetheless, both devices currently stand as solid options for anyone looking for an affordable flagship phone.

Main Highlights of the iQOO Z9 Turbo

Under the hood, the iQOO Z9 Turbo features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the same SoC as the Redmi Turbo 3. It’s Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC that’s designed for affordable powerhouses. While it isn’t as powerful as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the SoC is a step up from the last-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
