OnePlus Watch 2 Nordic Blue Edition Launched


OnePlus Watch 2 was first introduced in the MWC event. Later, the smartwatch was launched in different regions across the globe. There are many highlights of the smartwatch including an AMOLED display and also the Dual OS support. At the launch, the smartwatch came with two color options. However, now a new special color option is revealed and it looks absolutely amazing.

Initially, the OnePlus Watch 2 came with two color options: Black Steel and Radiant Steel. Now the company has introduced the Nordic Blue Edition with a Scandinavian-inspired design. The new option comes with a light colored stainless steel case with a blue leather band that pairs up nicely with a white stitching. Moreover, there is a blue and white chronograph bezel which matches the theme of the watch and makes it standout from the rest of the color options.

OnePlus Watch 2 Nordic Blue Edition Launched

Apart from the new look, the smartwatch remains identical in terms of hardware. However, being a limited time option with a unique design, the price has increased from the standard options. The OnePlus Watch 2 Nordic Blue options are launched in the European and UK market with price tags of €299 (~$320) and £269 (~$335) respectively. For a comparison, the standard option has a price tag of roughly $300.

OnePlus Watch 2 Highlights

OnePlus Watch 2 carries some great features. To start with, it has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, protected by sapphire glass. The display will be visible in harsh sunlight with its peak brightness of 600 nits. Powering the watch are two chips: Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 SoC and the BES 2700 MCU. With this integration, OnePlus was able to add dual OS support. The watch has a 500mAh battery.

Moreover, the watch offers 100+ workout modes with automatic workout detection for effortless fitness tracking. It meticulously analyzes your sleep patterns, tracking deep sleep, light sleep, REM, awake times, and even your sleep breathing rate.
