A new leak has revealed the full specs of Samsungâs upcoming Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, and it looks very familiar. Thatâs because the phone seems to be nearly identical to last yearâs Galaxy Z Flip6. The Samsung Galaxy Flip7 FE is expected to be launched in early July, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and the regular Galaxy Z Flip7. It may also go by the name âFlip FEâ in some markets. The leak includes all the key details, from display size to camera specs and even pricing.

A familiar foldable with a new name
According to the leak, the Flip7 FE will have a 6.7-inch LTPO Super AMOLED 2X folding screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display will be 3.4 inches, just like the one on the Flip6. So far, there are no big changes.
Inside, the Flip7 FE will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and come with 12GB of RAM. For photos and videos, it will feature a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP selfie camera. All three will be able to record video in 4K at 60 frames per second.
The battery size will be 4,000 mAh, with support for 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The phone will also have an IP48 rating, meaning it’s somewhat resistant to dust and splashes of water.
Is this just a Flip6 reboot?
The Flip7 FE is expected to cost less than âŹ1,000. While that price sounds good for a foldable phone, the specs tell another story. Everything listed is basically the same as what youâd find on the Galaxy Z Flip6.
This has raised questions about Samsungâs strategy. If the Flip7 FE is just a rebranded Flip6, whatâs the point? If the Flip6 remains on sale, especially with discounts, it might actually be the better deal. The only advantage the Flip7 FE would have is a longer period of software updates.
Itâs possible Samsung plans to replace the Flip6 entirely with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE. If not, buyers may find themselves confused by the overlapping models. For now, this is still a rumor, but the specs are detailed and believable. Weâll know more when Samsung holds its next Unpacked event in July. Until then, the Flip7 FE seems like a Flip6 wearing a new badge. Whether thatâs enough to attract buyers remains to be seen.
