Samsung has started testing the One UI 8 Beta 2 update for its Galaxy S25 series. The first beta was rolled out recently based on Android 16, but only in a few countries. Now, it looks like the second beta is on the way.
New Test Build Spotted
A well-known tipster has revealed that Samsung is working on a new beta version for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The new internal build carries the version number ZYES, while the first beta came with ZYER. This clearly shows that the second beta is now being tested.
At the moment, the testing is happening in the United States and Canada for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. If things go well, Samsung could release the update very soon. Users of the other S25 series could also get the opportunity to test the beta 2 within a few weeks.
What to Expect from One UI 8 Beta 2
The second beta update is likely to fix bugs found in the first beta version. Samsung may also include new features and improvements to enhance performance and user experience. So, Galaxy S25 users have a lot to look forward to.
Beta Program Might Expand
Right now, the One UI 8 Beta is available only in a few regions — the US, UK, South Korea, and Germany. But the next update could bring support to more countries. Possible new locations include India, Poland, and Canada.
However, keep in mind that Samsung has not officially confirmed these details yet. So we’ll need to wait for the company’s announcement.
Stay Tuned for More
One UI 8 is shaping up to be a big step forward for Galaxy phones, with Android 16 at its core. The second beta could roll out soon, bringing bug fixes, fresh features, and maybe a wider release.
