Recently, Kuo Ming-Chi released a report which shows that Apple will release its first foldable phone in 2023. The report also includes some information about the upcoming iPad Mini. According to Kuo Ming-Chi, a touch panel supplier will benefit from the new iPad mini (or iPad mini 6). Furthermore, this dew device will officially launch in the second half of 2021. In April, Apple released the latest generation of iPad Pro. This device comes with a new mini-LED display, M1 processor, and 5G network support.
There have been reports that the new iPad mini will arrive this spring. However, it appears that the update of the small iPad (Apple does not update frequently), should be in the fall. Kuo Ming-Chi also claims that Apple is developing a new iPad mini with a 9-inch display. Optimistically, this product looks like a low version of the iPad Air. It appears to reduce the screen frame and moves the Touch ID to the side button.
According to Japanese blogger, Macotakara, the new iPad mini will use an 8.4-inch display. This is still an improvement over the current generation of 7.9-inch size. The iPad mini currently sold by Apple has a starting price of 2921 yuan ($451) for the 64GB configuration. The cheapest iPad in the series, the 2499 yuan ($386) iPad, has a basic configuration of 32GB. According to reports, the cheap iPad will also be updated again at some point in 2021, perhaps along with the new iPad mini in the fall.

From a recent leak, the overall design of this iPad will be similar to the iPad Air3. The leak shows that the iPad mini 6 does not use a notch design. In addition, its frame is smaller than that of the iPad 5 mini. In terms of size, the iPad mini 6 is about 203.2mm x 134.8mm x 6.25mm thick. With these measurements, the screen size should be about 9.14 inches. Previously, Kuo Ming-Chi also mentioned that Apple is developing an iPad mini equipped with a mini-LED display.
The iPad mini 6 appears to come with a lot of upgrades. However, these are just speculations and there are no official reports from Apple for now. If the reports so far are true, the iPad mini 6 will appear more stylish and elegant.
