To many the lack of iPhone 5, iPod 5 and
iPad 3 at last weeks Apple Keynote was a major blow, however for others, such as
Chinese Android tablet makers, the lack of
iPad 3 was a god send!
Here are 3 new
Chinese Android tablets available in stores across the U.S and Europe now!
First up is our fave little
tablet of the hour the
Lenovo A1
tablet.
We've already stated that the A1 could be the best tablet you could buy on a budget this year, and new the
7 inch Gingerbread tablet has arrived in U.S stores.
The A1 is available in 2 models a 2GB $199 version in black or white, and a 16GB $249 model which comes in black, white, purple, blue and red.
Lenovo have managed to give the little A1 a 1Ghz CPU, Micro SD card reader Wi-Fi, 2 mega-pixel front camera, 5 mega-pixel rear and even true
GPS! A huge bonus for those of
us on the move.
Nextbook Premium 8
The Nextbook Premium8 is pricier than the
Lenovo at $299 but it gets a slightly larger
8 inch screen but only 4GB of storage.
There is also 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, a front-facing 2-megapixel camera, a microSD slot, Android 2.3 and a mini-USB port, but lack GPS and the rear camera. Also at $299 its $100 more than the Kindle Fire.
Pandadigital Supernova
The Pandadigital Supernova is no stranger to Gizchina. The 8-inch tablet has a very similar specification to the Lenovo A1 but again without the GPS.
It's got an 8-inch screen, front- and rear-facing
cameras and uses a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, but only 4GB of storage compared to the 16GB in the IdeaPad A1.
Like the A1 however the SuperNova does have a microSD slot that lets it expand up to 32GB.
