Instagram is better than Facebook Camera

Earlier today Facebook launched their first camera app, Facebook camera, which comes straight of the back of the company's acquisition of (the AWESOME!) Instagram. We have download Facebook camera, given it a whirl, like it BUT... Instagram is better for one simple reason!So Facebook camera is now available for all those with a Facebook account and either an Android or iOS phone or tablet. The free application offers users the ability to add their latest photos to their Facebook timelines with a simple press of a button, as does Instagram, and even offers Instagram like filters.

Unlike Instagram however the Facebook camera application allows us to tag the people in our photos and tag other users involved in a photo making Facebook camera instantly better as a social image sharing application!

The user interface is fantastic too with all menus, photos and albums just a simple slide of the finger away! Plus you have the option to easily crop photos before adding filters!

Speaking for filters though, the ones available on the current version of Facebook Camera aren't quite up to the standard or choice of those found in Instagram, and the lack framing options might bother some users.

However the one single upsetting feature of the Facebook Camera application, the one single annoyance which will prevent us from using it instead of Instagram (which has already taken the place of the default camera app on our iPhones), and the single problem which will ultimately ensure it will be deleted is....... you have to use a VPN for it to work in China!

Yes, that's it ! (if your reading this in a country outside of China Facebook Camera is the bomb by the way totally download it!) but for us in China having to use a VPN to update our Facebook photos on the fly is a little tedious and a problem with Instagram doesn't face!
