What to expect today from the iOS 27 Official Version?

Apple is rolling out iOS 27 today, September 14. The new update focuses more on speed and stability than flashy new features. It supports the iPhone 11 and newer. That is the same device range supported by iOS 26.

iOS 27 comes after last year's major Liquid Glass redesign. The focus is on making the system faster and more stable. That could be good news for users who had problems with bugs after the iOS 26 launch.

Liquid Glass is still part of iOS 27. Apple has made some changes to its look, though. Refraction should now look more even. Apple has also improved contrast and added more depth to app icons. Apple has also shared some numbers for the speed improvements about iOS 27.

Apps can now launch up to 30% faster. Photos can appear in the library up to 70% faster after you take them. AirDrop transfers can also be up to 80% faster.

There are smaller improvements too. The emoji keyboard should load faster, while switching between lock screen setups should take less time. Small improvements but it will be something you might notice in everyday use.
