The
HMD Aura 3 has just had its main specs leak online. The source,
HMD_MEME, posted the info on X last week. The phone will launch with a 6.75-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, powered by a Unisoc T606 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and will run
Android 15 for smooth use of apps, web browsing, and light games, while also offering Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for classic earphones.
The back has a 50MP AI main cam plus depth and macro lenses. Up front, there is an 8MP cam for selfies.
Look and shape
Aura 3 has a soft green tone and a waterdrop notch on top. The top bezel is thin, yet the base is wide due to the low-end LCD design. The back is plain, with the
HMD logo in the middle. The cam block is square with two round lenses stacked vertically. The flash sits at the lower right of the block.
The form is clear and plain, with no curves or gloss. The mix of a big screen and a low-end panel gives it a mix of old and new styles. The 6.75-inch screen may suit fans of video, social apps, or light play. The wide screen and low cost could make it a pick for users on a small budget.
Battery and use
The phone also has IP52 dust and wet proofing, so small drops or rain will not harm it.
Other traits include AI help for cams, dual rear cams, and Android 15 tools. The low-end chip is fine for day-to-day tasks, web, and social use. With a big screen and a long battery, Aura 3 seems aimed at cost-conscious users who want a strong main phone without a high price. The price is not clear yet, but it may be small for the size, battery, and screen it offers.
