Honor 500 Pro Molly 20th Anniversary Edition Arrives in Collaboration with Pop Mart

Honor has officially unveiled the Honor 500 Pro Molly 20th Anniversary Edition. If you're a fan of unique-looking phones and special editions, this one wil catch your attention. It's a limited-edition smartphone created in collaboration with Pop Mart. The device marks the 20th anniversary of Pop Mart’s Molly character and represents Honor’s first fully customized designer toy phone. It costs CNY 4,499, roughly $646, and is now available for pre-order. Open sales begin on January 25 at 10:08 AM.
Honor 500 Pro 20th Anniversary Edition: A Designer Toy, Reimagined as a Smartphone
The special edition Honor 500 Pro comes in a single 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration. As aforementioned, this design revolves entirely around Pop Mart’s iconic Molly character. On the back, Honor features a custom Molly Painter illustration layered over an Obsidian Black finish. The customization extends beyond hardware. The software experience includes Molly-themed wallpapers, camera watermarks, charging animations, and a dedicated UI skin designed specifically for this edition.
A Collector’s Gift Box With Extra Flair
Honor is also bundling the phone with a suitcase-style gift box that includes built-in lighting effects. Inside, buyers will find a collection of Molly-themed accessories, including a custom SIM ejector tool, a wax seal-style invitation, stained glass-inspired art cards, red envelopes, film stickers, a Molly phone case, couplet fridge magnets, and a phone lanyard.
Despite the heavy focus on design, the hardware remains unchanged from the standard Honor 500 Pro. The phone carries the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and is backed by an 8,000mAh Qinghai Lake battery. When it comes to fast-charging, it includes 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. On the camera side, the phone features a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide macro lens.
Molly Takes Over Offline Too
Honor also confirmed it will host Molly-themed pop-up stores and promotional events in more than 100 cities across China, including Beijing and Shanghai. These events will feature in-store activities and exclusive co-branded merchandise tied to the anniversary release.
