Honor
dropped two new devices at
MWC 2026—the MagicPad 4 tablet and MagicBook Pro 14 laptop - along with their
Magic V6 flagship foldable. Both pack serious specs aimed at different audiences.
Key Points:
- Honor MagicPad 4 features Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 165Hz OLED, 11,000mAh battery, 4.8mm thickness
- MagicBook Pro 14 2026 powered by Intel Core Ultra X9 388H with 80W performance release
- MagicPad 4 includes eight-speaker system and 3.9mm slim bezels for immersive experience
- MagicBook Pro 14 offers 3.1K 14-inch OLED display, 92Wh battery, weighs 1.37kg
- Both devices launched globally at MWC 2026 targeting entertainment and productivity segments
MagicPad 4 Goes Flagship
The tablet runs
Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. That's flagship phone silicon inside a tablet, which isn't common. Most Android tablets use mid-range chips or last year's flagships.
Display measures 165Hz OLED with bezels at just 3.9mm. That's incredibly thin framing around the screen. Makes the display feel almost edge-to-edge.
Battery capacity hits 11,000mAh. Massive for a tablet this thin. Speaking of thin—the whole thing measures 4.8mm thick. How Honor fit an 11K battery into that profile seems like engineering magic or marketing exaggeration. Probably both.
Audio comes through eight speakers. That's four times what most tablets offer. Should deliver way better sound than typical two-speaker setups.

MagicBook Pro 14 Targets Productivity
The laptop uses Intel Core Ultra X9 388H pulling 80W. That's high-power mobile computing territory. Most ultrabooks run 28W or 45W for thermal management. 80W means serious performance but probably louder fans and shorter battery life under load.
Screen runs 3.1K resolution at 14 inches using OLED tech. Sharp text, vibrant colors, deep blacks. Good for creative work and media watching.
Battery measures 92Wh. That's substantial for a laptop this light. Weight sits at 1.37kg which qualifies as ultraportable despite the big battery and power-hungry chip.
Touchpad uses pressure sensitivity instead of mechanical clicking. Some people love haptic touchpads. Others hate them. No mechanical click means quieter operation but less tactile feedback.
Global Launch Focus
Honor launched these globally at MWC instead of China-first. That signals international market ambitions beyond their home base.
Pricing wasn't announced during the reveal. Specs suggest premium tier positioning, probably competing against
iPad Pro and
MacBook Pro respectively.
Whether Honor can actually deliver flagship Android tablet experience versus Apple's ecosystem dominance stays questionable. The hardware looks competitive on paper though. What's your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
