LG Optimus Pad Details and Promo Video

The LG Optimus (also known as the G Slate) looks to be about set for launch with predictions stating customers will be able to pick up the first LG Android tablet as early as March.

The LG Optimus get's some rather fancy features such as a 3D capable screen (although it has not been confirmed it it will be a glasses-less 3D screen), a 5 mega-pixel rear facing stereoscopic camera which can take 3D still images as well as record video, a front facing 2 mega-pixel camera and of course a Nvida Tegra 2 dual core CPU.

To spice things up LG in true style have launched a new promo video of the Optimus Tablet showing it, wait for it..... turning in to Optimus Prime! The video is filmed in a faux movie trailer fashion closely mimicking the Transformers movies and directed by Micheal Boy and produced by Steven Spillback!

The short video is pretty entertaining to watch and even gets a few Apple destroying references thrown in for good measure.
