Taking a premium phone and make it more affordable with slightly lower specs is a proven formula, one which Huawei are attempting with the Huawei Ascend G6.
This isn’t the first time we have seen details of the Huawei Ascend G6, but this is the first officially looking press leak and spy photo of the device we have seen so far.
The Ascend G6 shares part of its design with the popular Ascend P6, however Huawei have kept costs low by giving the phone a slightly lower specification. The processor has been changed to a quad-core Mediatek MT6582 unit, there is 1GB RAM, Android 4.2 and a 8 mega-pixel main camera. The 7.5mm G6 should be shown off at Mobile World Congress soon.
