There is great excitement at the top of the DxOMark ranking regarding the photographic performance of the main smartphones in recent months. The latest to conquer the top was the brand new Oppo Find X2 Pro, but also Xiaomi, Apple and Samsung are no different. The real king may not have been born yet, but his advent appears imminent. We refer to the Huawei P40 Pro.
It's no secret that even the new flagship smartphone of the Chinese giant will focus much on the photographic sector, which may have been revealed in detail (at least regarding the technical data) by a leak in the last few hours. Huawei P40 Pro should, in fact, boast 5 rear photographic sensors, organized as follows.
Huawei P40 Pro Penta camera features
52MP 1/1.28″ IMX700 main sensor with 1.22 μm pixels and RYYB filter to capture even more light
40mp 1/1.5″ IMX650 sensor with RGGB filter and ultra-wide-angle Cine lens
Dual prism periscopic telephoto lens for 10x optical zoom with 2P1G lenses
Telephoto lens for 3x optical zoom
ToF sensor for calculating the depth.
There will also be an LED for the flash, a sensor for the color temperature and a set of microphones for capturing the audio. From an aesthetic point of view, the rectangular module designed by Huawei does not differ from the fashion of the moment, already seen on one of its most fierce rivals, namely Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.
It is worth mentioning that Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO Richard Yu has recently confirmed that the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro will be unveiled on March 26. The event will take place in Paris. Apart from the announcement, there’s no additional information revealed by the official.
We already know a lot about Huawei P40, as well as for Huawei P40 Pro. Especially when it comes to cameras, thanks to the numerous leaks that have appeared so far.
