Rumour: Micromax Canvas devices to get KitKat upgrade?

As you might remember from a recent post, India's Wickledleak recently announced an Android v4.4 KitKat upgrade for the Passion Z+. If reports are to be believed, Micromax might soon follow suit.

Popular leakster (specializing in Micromax devices) MMXNewscaster reports that a host of devices, from Micromax's hugely successful Canvas lineup of smartphones might be in line for an Android v4.4 upgrade. In trademark Micromax style, MMXNewscaster made a tweet with the hashtag 'SurpriseCANGiftHappiness' along with a picture with device model names, as seen below.

There's no confirmation from Micromax so we suggest you to take this with a pinch of salt, or any other spice of choice. However, it is indeed promising news for owners of smartphones running on MediaTek phones.
