Motorola is getting ready to further expand its portfolio of mid-range smartphones and Moto X is one of them I guess. The device was expected to be unveiled this week but instead it got FCC certification which means that it won't be long before we get to see it up close and personal.

FCC's listing reveals the handset carries a model number of XT-1900-1 and packs in a 2,810mAh battery, along with a Snapdragon 630 chipset, a 5.2 inch full HD display and two variants with 3/4GB RAM.

It also packs a dual camera on its back (12MP+8MP) and a 16MP selfie shooter, along with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Moto X could be unveiled during IFA, but there are currently no credible rumors or an official confirmation on this.
