While local and Chinese makers fight the price war in India,
OPPO seems happy in its own merry world. The Chinese phone maker today announced the
OPPO Neo 3 which is another 'budget' offering.
The Neo 3 succeeds the previously announced Neo, but even then has a lot in common. There's a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, a
1.3GHz dual-core CPU and a gig of RAM that headline the specs sheet on the Neo 3, certainly not making for a pretty picture when you consider the 10,990 INR or $181 price tag it has launched with.
We really don't see anything in the Neo 3 that would make buyers consider this an option. If you're a resident of India on the lookout for a budget smartphone, we reckon you hold out for the
Redmi 1S that is slated to go on sale in a couple of days.
