OPPO has finally confirmed that the Find X10 series will launch later this month. The company hasn't given us the exact date yet, but it has shared the first official teaser for the phones. And yes, the huge camera module we've seen in recent leaks is real.
The teaser also gives us a first look at the new design, which is quite different from the Find X9 series.

A new look for the Find X10

OPPO's teaser shows a large camera island that stretches across the top part of the phone. Inside it are three large camera rings, while the Hasselblad logo sits next to them.
It's a big change from the round camera design OPPO used on some of its older Find flagships. I'm still not sure I prefer it. The circular design had its own identity, while this new look feels a little more familiar.
Still, it looks much better in OPPO's official teaser than it did in some of the early renders.
The phone also has flat sides and rounded corners, while the buttons sit on the right side of the frame. OPPO hasn't shown the front yet, but earlier leaks point to a flat display with very thin bezels.

Find X10 Pro Max is coming too

OPPO is expected to launch several models this year, including the Find X10, Find X10 Pro and Find X10 Pro Max. The Pro Max should be the most interesting one, especially if the recent camera leaks are correct.
Those leaks point to a wild triple 200MP camera setup. OPPO could use 200MP sensors for the main, ultrawide and periscope cameras, which would be a first for the Find series.
The standard Find X10 should be a little smaller. Earlier reports suggest it will use a 6.59-inch display, while the Pro Max could move up to around 6.78 inches.

ColorOS 17 comes with it

The Find X10 series will also be among the first phones to launch with ColorOS 17. OPPO has already teased the new software with a fresh design, smoother animations and its new Liquid Acrylic look.
MediaTek's next flagship chips are expected inside too. The Find X10 Pro Max has been linked to the Dimensity 9600 Pro, while other models could use different versions of the same chip family.
We won't have to wait much longer to find out. OPPO says the Find X10 series will launch in China later in September, with a global release expected to follow in October.
The specs will get most of the attention when these phones arrive, but I'm glad OPPO is changing the design too. Find phones have always looked a little different from everything else, and I hope OPPO doesn't lose that as the series moves in a new direction.
