Bookings for second batch of Zopo ZP998 open 8th Feb

China's Zopo will be accepting orders again for the Zopo ZP998 starting the 8th of next month.

This will be the second lot of the ZP998, which happens to be Zopo's first ever 8 core phone. Folks in China will be able to book themselves one starting 12:00 on February 8 until 11:00 on St. Valentine's Day. Zopo will be distributing purchased units after this, with deliveries set to commence 17th February.

For the unaware, the ZP998 is Zopo's premier smartphone with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, 1.7GHz octa-core processor from MediaTek (MT6592), 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and a camera combo of a 5 mega-pixel front and a 14 mega-pixel rear. The Zopo ZP998 goes for CNY 1499, an equivalent of about USD 247.
